The SBA 8(a) program is a nine-year business development initiative created to help eligible small businesses compete in the federal marketplace through management and technical assistance, contracting opportunities, and business development support. One of the company’s early program achievements included securing its first 8(a) contract within four months of obtaining the certification. CivilityMS noted that the win followed approximately 4.5 years of focused business-building, emphasizing that certification success was rooted in preparation and strategic discipline.

CivilityMS also highlighted growth within key federal agencies, particularly its early success with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The company’s first award in a focused agency was made under DHS, and CivilityMS continues supporting the ongoing mission of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
