Operations Manager
DeAnna Boyd joined Civility Management Solutions in 2015 as Operations Manager. With close to 15 years of combined experience in project management, program development, event/meeting strategic planning, and entrepreneurship, she has a successful track record in working for a diverse range of corporations and organizations. Most recently DeAnna’s work and passion as an advocate for education grew into a full‐time position with one of the largest school systems in the Maryland region. In this position, she manages, provides support and makes recommendations for numerous home‐schooled families. As an entrepreneur, she led a successful Inc. 500 health and wellness business of more than 300 Independent Marketing Executives and was often called on to give presentations promoting the benefits of the company.
Previously, her experience also includes integrating business services and quality professional services for the third-largest commercial insurance property and casualty brokerage firm in the country; she worked with the U.S. Census Bureau as a Crew Lead Assistant and took on work as an independent contractor with AOL to help start up the marketing and advertising arm of a new local online news site. In this position, she was responsible for extensive research that included meeting with and interviewing business owners.
In corporate services, DeAnna was responsible for supporting more than 360 Fortune 500 companies with current marketing, program, and development information. She was the primary contact for troubleshooting customer service activities relating to key revenue programs, and managed and coordinated reporting and tracking activities for those companies. Her project management skills at the National Black MBA Association, one of the largest African American professional organizations, led to her being called on to co‐manage annual career fairs and expositions for professional conferences. She has also taken on finance and process management responsibilities which she monitored new corporate business to maintain strategic direction.
