We are looking for a Technical Writer to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our Project. You will join a team of talented Project Managers, Financial Analyst who work collaboratively with developers, high level Government Executives and stakeholders. This high visibility project requires an individual who works well under pressure and can turn around project deliverables quickly and with a high degree of content quality.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal teams/stakeholders to obtain an in-depth understanding of the Project, Policy and revised procedural process
- Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
- Create and maintain the information architecture
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
- Use Photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation and charts that increase stakeholders awareness of project progress and milestones
- This sensitive assignment requires an individual that adapts to a always changing environment . Thus excels in working well with all types of backgrounds and personalities. We need someone who has the heart of a servant
- Gathers usability feedback from customers, stakeholders and peer team members
- Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides
- Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
Requirements
- Proven working experience in technical writing of Policy , Procedures geared to finance and government clientele
- Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
- Excellent written skills in English
- Strong proven working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Access )
- Basic familiarity with the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software development
- University degree in Business Communications. Finance or Government Policy preferred.
